Meet Robin McGuire

I’m a Pacific Northwest–based Doctor of Physical Therapy with advanced residency and fellowship training in orthopedic manual therapy. I specialize in running-related injuries, working with runners of all levels—from first-timers to seasoned marathoners and ultra-distance athletes—to reduce pain, improve mechanics, and boost performance.

I believe the best outcomes come from understanding the whole runner. My assessments go beyond the injury to consider training history, biomechanics, and performance demands. At the same time, I maintain a strong focus on tissue-specific diagnosis, ruling out differential diagnoses to pinpoint the true source of pain. This comprehensive, evidence-based assessment ensures your treatment is precise, targeted, and effective.

I love the “unsolvable” injuries, the ones that have lingered, frustrated, and defied every approach. As a runner myself, I know the ache of being sidelined, the itch to get back on the trials. Helping runners reclaim their stride with confidence is my passion.

This Fall 2025, I’m launching Norden Physical Therapy, a clinic built specifically for runners ready to reclaim their stride. Stay tuned for more details!
