Common running injuries I treat
Achilles, plantar fasciopathy, knee pain, IT band, hip pain, low back pain, ankle/foot pain.
What to expect at Norden PT
Detailed history, physical performance testing, joint mobility testing, coordination and strength testing, gait/running analysis, and a goal specific plan with target exercises and coaching on running dosage
Gait analysis + running form coaching
Running analysis isn’t everything and it doesn’t predict injury.
There is no single perfect running form, and no analysis can tell us with certainty who will or won’t get injured. Instead, gait analysis helps us understand how you move, how your body manages load, and where small adjustments may reduce unnecessary stress.
When appropriate, I use this information to make targeted changes aimed at helping you run with less pain, better efficiency, and more confidence rather than forcing you into a one size fits all form.
Return-to-run programming
My return-to-run programming prioritizes keeping runners running whenever it’s safe to do so, using smart modifications rather than unnecessary rest. Your return to run plan will involved: progressive loading, structured walk-to-run protocols, strength integration, pace/mileage guidance.
Why runners choose Norden PT
Advanced manual therapy training combined with a thorough, individualized assessment allows us to build a plan of care specific to you. We emphasize accountability so your treatment stays focused, intentional, and aligned with your running goals.
